Michael is a Digital Account Director at Lansons, leading and delivering the online aspects of integrated public relations programmes. He specialises in delivering corporate communications programmes across financial services, construction, energy, health, and public affairs.
Client experience includes working with Shawbrook Bank, DuPont, 3M, Symantec, Mabey Bridge, Australia Tourism Northern Territory, Falkland Islands Tourism, Adobe technology UK, ACI Worldwide, and many others.
Alongside work, he keeps this public relations blog updated with the latest news and thoughts relative to his everyday work. This ranges from promoting best practice in the industry, exploring trending topics, sharing new research, reviewing books, and providing opinion on industry matters. Michael has been named three years running by media measurement company Vuelio as one of the UK’s top ten PR bloggers.
Michael graduated with a first-class honours degree in public relations from the University of Gloucestershire in 2012. He has also worked as a full-time digital consultant for public affairs consultancy, Keene Communications, and worked for Microsoft managing international AdNetwork campaigns for the Microsoft Media Network across EMEA, APAC, US and Latin America.
His knowledge of the digital industry as a disrupter for ‘business as usual’ has led him to be involved in debates about social media on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
